TikTok has hundreds of millions of users and more are added every day. If you want to grow your TikTok fan base, don’t you want to know which of these users are visiting your profile?

There was no way to tell if someone viewed your TikTok profile. But a new feature changes that.

The profile view history feature creates a list of users who have visited your profile in the last 30 days. The important thing is that it only lists users

This means that when you turn this feature on, it will make you visible in the history list of other users. It’s a two-way street – if you can see who’s viewing your profile, other users can see you too.

Quick tip: If you don’t see this icon, tap the three lines in the top right, then Settings & Privacy. Tap Privacy, then scroll down and tap Profile Views. If you don’t see this option either, make sure your TikTok app is updated.

3. You will be given a list of all the people who have viewed your profile in the last 30 days. From this page you can tap on their username to view their profile or tap on Follow.

William Antonelli (he/she/they) is a writer, editor, and organizer based in New York City. As a founding member of the review team, he helped grow Tech Reference (now part of Insider Reviews) from humble beginnings to a behemoth that attracts more than 20 million monthly visitors. Outside of Insider, his writing has appeared in Polygon, The Outline, Kotaku, and other publications. He is also the main source of technical analysis on channels such as Newsy, Cheddar and NewsNation. You can find him on Twitter @DubsRewatcher or email him at [email protected] What do LinkedIn and Tik Tok have in common? In some cases, you can now see who viewed your profile in the last 30 days (Also, LinkedIn works in a TikTok-like video feed, but…we’re not going to get into that right now.)

The feature is rolling out to many users, but TikTok has yet to confirm whether it will test TikTok profile views or roll out more widely. However, the TikTok support page already has information on how to change the profile view. The support page adds that this feature is only available to users over the age of 16 who have fewer than 5,000 followers. Maybe it’s because if you’re very popular on TikTok, it can be overwhelming to see a long list of all the people who view your profile. Or maybe it’s for those users’ own safety (seeing that Charlie Dumleu somehow ended up on your profile?).

If you have this feature, you’ll see an eye icon in the top right corner when you look at your profile. If you click on it, you will see who has viewed your profile in the last thirty days. Only you can see who has viewed your profile, but if you turn this feature on, you agree to allow others to see that you have viewed their profile.

Luckily, you have to manually enter TikTok profile views – it’s not automatic, so don’t worry if you looked at your ex’s profile yesterday. They won’t know unless you’ve already enabled the feature. You can enable or disable this feature at any time.

It doesn’t hurt to check yourself out on this popular social network to see who has been influenced by your creativity.

However, it would be naive to think that all Instagrammers follow the “like and follow” trend. Many people may prefer to check out the profile without following the account.

This is especially true for popular brands. If you like NatGeo but don’t want to flood your feed with their photos (they post multiple times a day), it makes sense to unfollow them and visit their profile once a day (or week) instead. They visit. To browse their recent posts.

What Does Interesting View Mean On Linkedin?

So, how to track such profile visitors who don’t care to follow? Does Instagram let you see who views your profile?

If you’re the curious type, prepare to be disappointed. Unfortunately, Instagram does not let you know who has visited your profile. It still lacks in-app functionality to track your profile visitors.

If you have a business account, you can see the number of visitors in the last seven days or the number of users who have seen your posts in their feed. But when it comes to guest names, the answer is a resounding no.

Instagram, like Facebook, has been very vocal about this particular issue due to obvious privacy concerns. Simply put, they have the data, but they don’t share it with anyone but you.

So yes, this means that the days of Orkut where you can easily see who has accessed your profile are over.

Now that in-app functionality is out of the picture, what about third-party apps? A quick Google search reveals many online tools and third-party apps for Android and iOS that claim to offer this functionality. In fact, a search of the Play Store will reveal hundreds of apps named accordingly.

Most of these apps look fake and usually choose random Instagram names and show you. In fact, some of them even ask you to pay a small fee if you want to see more than five names.

Browsing user reviews on Play Store and App Store shows the same picture. They pick random names and mess them up the next time you check. Not to mention that an ad pops up every few minutes.

Can You See Who Viewed Your Twitter Profile? Nope!

The reason why such programs cannot track profile visitors is simple. The Instagram API does not share such information with third-party applications. Some apps show who has unfollowed (or followed) you recently, and prompts to remove the stranger’s name from your profile.

Also, you never know how these apps work with your data. Given the “functionality” of these programs, I doubt they are safe. If you have previously allowed access to such apps, be sure to revoke access immediately, even if you no longer use them or have removed them from your phone.

Open Instagram’s allowed apps page in your browser and revoke the permission you have given to such suspicious apps. An interesting alternative: Instagram stories

If you’re still struggling to track your visitors, Instagram’s popular Stories feature is the best way to do it, as Stories posted by public accounts are accessible to almost everyone (unless they’re blocked).

All you have to do is open the story and swipe up. Click on the eyeball icon and the list of people who have visited your story will be displayed in full. This includes users who do not follow your Instagram account.

If you see someone who is creepy, tapping on the little cross icon (next to the name) will prevent them from seeing your future Instagram stories. Or, if you want to keep your personal information private, you can switch to a personal account.

Checking Instagram stories manually can be annoying. However, at least for now this is the only way.

Unfortunately, there is no process that allows you to see the names of visitors to your profile. They must be confidential and accurate. If you don’t want it to appear that you visited someone else’s profile (eg your ex), the reverse should also be true.
