I have to admit, Best Western is my favorite hotel chain because of its trusted name. I’ve never been to a Best Western and had a terrible experience.

Best Western Lake Buena Vista is conveniently located in the Disney Springs area, with guests minutes from Disney. As if that wasn’t enough to convince you, it starts at $130 per night (depending on season and availability). Convenience fees and parking are reasonable per night. Amenities are good, with an outdoor pool, fitness center, transportation to and from WDW and pre-bookable FastPass+ facilities. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator that caters to the storage needs. Check out their website for specials like kids 10 and under get a free breakfast with a paying adult.

What I absolutely love about this hotel is that each room is spacious and this is a plus when traveling with kids! Double Tree Suites Hilton Disney Spring’s location, access to amenities and Extra Magic Hours and advanced FastPass+ booking make it one of my family’s top picks!

Four Seasons Resort Orlando has it all, including rooms with stunning views of the Magic Kingdom. How close are you to magic at this AAA Diamond Resort? The amenities that come with your stay justify the higher resort fee. Extra Magical Mornings and an advanced selection of FASTPASS+ are also available here. With a 5-acre water park, 5-star dining, and free kids’ camp, an added bonus is the Disney-character breakfast served at the Ravello restaurant (Thursdays and Saturdays only – for a fee).

Prices start at $170 per night (depending on weather and availability), which is great, but the resort fee is a little over $42.75 per night.

The Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark is on our list of the top ten non-property Walt Disney World hotels for several reasons! Not only is this an official Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, but it’s also a mile from the entrance to WDW. And it was the pool that convinced me and my family to book here! Did I say pool? I meant a water park with an Olympic pool, a water slide, fun pool activities and a splash zone. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s an onsite 4D experience, Bank Heist Laser Challenge, Miniature Golf and Arcade.

No Disney perks are offered here, but there are plenty of great deals for families with kids 12 and under, with kids taking advantage of free meals at select on-site restaurants. See hotel website for more information.

What I absolutely love about all Embassy Suites hotels is how welcoming they are. Yes, the Embassy Suites Orlando i-Drive is expensive, but the amenities are worth it! The rooms have always been super clean and comfortable when my family has stayed here. And each room is spacious for a two-room suite! Also what I found useful is the microwave and mini fridge in each room. Guests are offered a free continental breakfast and an evening reception with free snacks, drinks and cocktails. And the pools are great – one indoor and one outdoor.

Yes, guests are a little further from the center of WDW, but the free shuttle to and from the park and walking distance to fine restaurants and shopping make it a stay worth visiting.

Sonesta Es Suites Orlando – International Drive made our list of the top ten off-site Walt Disney World hotels because of the great deals available through our travel partner Get Away Today!
