Google Forms is a useful free tool that allows you to create surveys that others can fill out. Since you can customize the questions and answer options, it’s useful for research, but it can also be just for fun. Once you’ve created a survey, you can quickly share it via email or link, or embed it on your website.
3. Click the field labeled Untitled Form and enter the name you want to use for the survey. You can also write a description of the survey by writing it in the field right below it called Form description.

After selecting the Link tab (second from the left), click the Copy button in the lower right corner of the screen. If you want a shorter version of the link, click the box next to Shorten URL to show a checkmark, then click Copy. From there, you can paste the link elsewhere, such as on social media, and anyone who clicks on the link can respond to your survey.

One of the lesser-known features is Google Forms, a form builder that’s as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Whether you’re collecting email addresses, doing quick surveys on your website, or creating in-depth surveys or questionnaires, Forms are the perfect tool to use.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to get started with Google Forms. We will give an example of how to do a survey in a Google Form. I’ll explain the different types of questions you can create with it, how you can change the questions depending on the answers the user provides, and finally how you can access and analyze the data. Use These Directions To Create And Share A Google Form
Let’s begin our exploration of Google Docs. First, go to drive.google.com in your web browser and sign in to your Google account if you haven’t already. In the upper left corner of the screen, click New > More > Google Forms.
Click the arrow to the right of Google Forms and choose between opening a blank form or creating a form from a template.
Click on Blank Form to create a survey from a blank form. Or click From Template to create a survey from a template. If you find a template you like, click it to open it.
