As your symptoms increase, so will your issues. Is it allergies? Is it a cold? is it the flu What should I do even if I think it’s COVID-19?

With so many overlapping symptoms, there are some initial tests you can do to determine if your symptoms are due to a cold, flu, allergies, or COVID-19.

Take note of your specific symptoms and use the chart below to determine if your symptoms are commonly caused by COVID-19 or another common respiratory issue.
If your symptoms are more like those of a cold or flu, use over-the-counter medications or home remedies to manage your symptoms. You should also stay at home and avoid close contact with others to prevent the spread of your disease. Finally, since many of these symptoms of upper respiratory infection overlap, there is no harm in doing a home COVID-19 test if you have access to one.
If you think it’s allergies, start by choosing the best over-the-counter allergy medication for you. And again, don’t be afraid to get a COVID-19 test at home if you have one. Better safe than sorry, right?

We’ve all been through that. A breakup involves romantic love, although the interpersonal attraction may or may not be permanent or reciprocated.

All consuming as you were swept along in a whirlwind of nervous giddiness. You might mistake that intense, beneficial attraction for someone you barely know for “love,” but put on the brakes. It’s too early to call it that. A breakup can also be associated with emerging romantic feelings for a friend.
People signal their attraction and interest in a variety of ways, including telegraphic visual, verbal, and attention-grabbing cues. You may think you’re reticent about showing your feelings, but you’re more transparent than you think. (Ask your friends if they notice when you behave differently in your broken body.)
Learn how to recognize the signs of a breakup in yourself and others. Then, when you’re ready, you can think of ways to tell your crush you love them so you can take your relationship to the next step.
Do you feel anxious, nervous, excited when you are with someone special? Do you dream about them and want to be near them all the time? Do you often look in the direction? Someone is very broken. Admit it.
Signs You’re Successful (even If You Don’t Think You Are)
When my daughter was a freshman on the high school cross-country team, she noticed that while the running team was practicing, a handsome man on the team would slow down or speed up his pace to talk to her. He didn’t know why, so he ran faster to get away from her. (Embarrassing! That was years ago, but we’re still laughing about it.)
Some signs that you have a crush are readily apparent. This can include eye contact, smiling, nervousness, and feeling like they’re always around. Frequent and direct eye contact is a common sign. Eye contact should usually be just long enough to catch the other person’s gaze, but not so long that it’s perceived as rude or gaping. (Scientists have found that eye contact gets worse if it lasts longer than 3.2 seconds.)
Also, when you have a crush, you automatically “smile in the eye” instead of flashing an insincere half-smile. You can’t help but show off a wide, goofy smile whenever you see or speak to your crush.
Finally, you are often motivated by the person you are attracted to, even though a secret heart is a fear-inducing situation. You may become speechless and find it difficult to say anything. Just talking about your crush with friends can sometimes be awkward, especially if they’re teasing you.

Verbal cues can also signal that you have a crush. You mention details about your crush that others miss, and you compliment your crush. You strike up a conversation with him, then linger, reluctant to let those interactions end. Other examples of verbal cues include acting out crazy “what if” scenarios or pointing to a future together.
You’ve probably realized that your crush takes up a significant chunk of your attention. They become a big focus for you. You spend your time alone dreaming about them and when you talk to them you try to sit as close as possible, generally face to face in conversation. They lean in to fully absorb all the information they have to offer. You don’t worry about your phone, and you don’t notice other potential dating partners. It’s like you two are the only people in the room (or the world).
Others need to pay attention when you show many signs of attraction like your crush. However, it’s important to also pay attention to how your crush reacts to show that you’re interested in them. Do they look like you too?
If you’re dreaming about the same person — reliving conversations, thinking about what they might do, and fantasizing about them — you have a crush on them.
How Do You Know If You Have Allergies?
Now that you know you have a crush, check how the object of your affection is responding to your romantic interest. Try some fun, play flirting and see if the attraction is mutual. (If at any point they reject you, honor their rejection, of course.)
Do they return your smile and eye contact, come closer, seem eager to talk to you, or instead seem less interested and making excuses? Look for the pattern. You could also ask for their phone and social media contact information, but don’t let this replace face-to-face communication. Their eagerness to communicate with you and the depth of their commitment should tell you if they love you.
