Lie on the floor with your knees bent. Your arms should be down by your sides and your palms on the floor. Lift your shoulders off the floor. This will be your starting point. Move one hand down toward the heel on the same side. Without lowering your shoulders, immediately return to the starting position, then repeat the movement on the other side to complete one repetition.

Start from the side plank position. Lift your top leg up and extend your free arm up. This is your starting point. Keep your elbows and knees together as much as possible. Release the contraction and return to the starting position to complete one repetition. Repeat the same on the other side to complete one set.

Take a dumbbell and sit on the floor with your legs extended. Hold the weights and bend your knees as you lift your feet off the floor. Hold a weight in front of you and lean back slightly, keeping your back straight and balancing on your glutes. This is your starting point. Twist your body and lower the weight to one side. Then change the movement, lower the weight to the other side, turning your body back. Dips on both sides complete one repetition.

Get into a side plank by raising your upper arm. This is your starting point. By swinging your arm down and under your body, thread the negative space between your body and the ground, just like you would thread a needle. Reverse the movement and return to the starting position to complete one repetition. Do the same number of repetitions on the other side to complete one set.

Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart, holding a dumbbell in both hands. Raise one arm up and lower the other arm by your side. This is your starting point. Lower your lower arm toward your leg, extending your other arm as high as you can. Reverse the movement and return to the starting position to complete one repetition. Repeat the same number of repetitions on the other side to complete your set.

Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Using both hands, lift a dumbbell up. This is your starting point. Slowly lower the weight to one side. Hold for one count, then move the weight up and in the opposite direction to complete one repetition. ‘Tick and tock’ by swinging the weight back and forth like a pendulum until you complete your set.
