Google Forms is a free and useful tool that allows you to create surveys that others can fill out. Because you can customize the questions and answer options, it’s useful for conducting research, but it can also be for fun. Once you’ve created your survey, you can quickly share it via email or link, or embed it on your website.
3. Click on the Anonymous form field and enter the title you want to use for the survey. You can also write a description of the survey by typing it in the field directly below it, called Form Description.
4. After giving your survey a title, you can add questions by clicking the icons on the right side of the screen. Here’s a quick overview of the icons and what they do.

5. Depending on the type of question you ask, respondents can answer in different ways, such as multiple choice or short answer. You can change the answer type by clicking on the drop-down menu in the question box and then clicking on the desired answer type. Available response types include:
6. After adding a question type, you can write the question itself, as well as the individual answer options. To do this, click on the corresponding field and enter the text you want to use.

Once you’re done creating a survey, you can share it with others in a few different ways. To get started, click the Submit button in the upper right corner of the form.

With the Email tab (first from the left) selected, click the field labeled To and enter the email address(es) of the desired survey recipient. If you want, you can also include a message. When you are finished, click Send in the lower right corner and the survey will be sent to all recipients.

With the Link tab (second from left) selected, click the Copy button in the lower right corner of the screen. If you want a shorter version of the link, click the box next to Shorten URL so that a checkmark appears, then click Copy. From there, you can paste the link somewhere else, like on social media, and anyone who clicks on the link can take your survey.

How To Create A Survey With Google Forms Full Tutorial
This one is a bit more complicated because it involves coding the survey on your personal website or blog. With the Embed HTML tab (third from the left) selected, click Copy in the lower right corner of the screen. This will copy the survey code so it can be embedded into your website or blog code, which you will need to do on your hosting site (such as WordPress).

By default, Google Forms does not collect email addresses. This is useful because people can respond anonymously and because people don’t need a Google account to fill out your form. The downside: you can’t verify who gave which answers, and people could theoretically submit the form multiple times.

You can prevent this in the General tab of the settings. Just make sure Limit to 1 answer is checked and you’re good to go.
Note that users must be signed in with a Google account for this to work, so it’s probably better for internal use than something client-facing (unless you’re absolutely sure all your users are Google users, I guess, but I wouldn’t assume it in most cases).

You can turn any Google Form into a multiple-choice quiz, allowing you to automatically grade tests and quizzes. Just go to the quiz section in your form settings.

Multiple choice questions can be graded in real time – just mark the correct answer and Google Forms will handle the grading for you.
You can also include short or long answers in the quiz, although grading in these cases must be done manually.

This can allow people to skip entire parts of the form that aren’t relevant to them, or you can ask completely different questions to different people. Creating a template from scratch isn’t difficult, but in many cases you don’t need to: Google offers ready-made templates for all kinds of obvious use cases.
If you use Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), you can create templates that your entire company can use. If you tend to make a lot of similar shapes, you don’t have to start over every time.
By default, answers to Google Form questions are in the Google Form itself, but you can automatically send all answers to a Google Sheet if you prefer. Just go to the Answers section.
