How To Put On Face Makeup In Order – Still fascinated by skin care products and confused about what to use when? Have you ever wondered if you are following the correct skincare order or applying your sunscreen and BB cream in the correct order? Do you keep lubricating products not knowing which one goes when and why? Guess it’s time to answer all these questions about the correct order of application of skin care and makeup products that you may be doing wrong (or may be right, in which case you can choose not to * read this post) * the tag Life!

Cleaner: Clean! This step needs no introduction when it comes to the skin care routine. You need to clean your face first to get rid of all the junk on your face and allow other products to work better. Exfoliation can be done after this if you want, but cleansing always comes first!

Tonic: Do your skin like your body. A face mist, toner, homemade toner or whatever tones your skin after cleansing it with a toner. To get the most out of your toner, first wipe your face with a toner-dampened cotton ball, then pat the toner onto your skin with your hands to work it deeper into the skin.

In What Order Should You Apply Makeup Products?

Serum: The logic of skin care is ~ all light products first, then heavy textured products. Thus, serum comes first among all cream skin care products! Take a pea-sized amount of serum and rub it into your face in circular motions!

Spot corrector/acne treatment: For those who use either, use after applying a serum (only on the target area, if you want, you can spread it all over the face, whatever)!

Eye cream: Next is eye cream, choose any eye cream for a specific purpose: crow’s feet, dark circles, puffy eyes and swirl it around your eyes from inner corner to outer corner with your ring finger, take it all the way. The eyes too, you don’t want the eyelids to get any care and treatment (like the rest of your face), do you?

Moisturizing: Always moisturize regardless of your skin type – oily, combination, sensitive or whatever, it doesn’t matter, you need to moisturize your skin well if you don’t want your skin to be the target of early wrinkles and fine lines. Use a moisturizer suitable for your skin type all over your face and be sure to spread it (all your skin care products to be precise) on your neck too!

Here’s A Step By Step Guide To How I Apply My Makeup Every Day

Sunscreen: The most popular product, that is, sunscreen (from beauty-conscious addicts). Use it right after moisturizing your face, let the moisturizer sink into your skin, and brush it on with sunscreen (a full tablespoon for your face, yes, that’s the recommended amount to use to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays) 20 minutes earlier. Go out, don’t worry about counting the time with chemical sunscreens, you can just use them and walk around in the sun.

Primer: Wearing makeup? And you don’t know what product to start with after using sunscreen? Premier, yes premier it is. The makeup process starts with a primer and ends with a makeup fixer (and compact for most of us)!

Foundation / BB cream: Now is the time to use your base product ~ your foundation, BB or CC cream to simulate the hell of a flawless complexion, well, if you are lucky enough to have beautiful skin, you can definitely skip this step!

Concealer: Concealer comes after foundation, some even use it before using foundation, but the logic is simple: it is used to cover what foundation does not have can not cover, so yes, foundation first, then concealer! You can go ahead and do it the other way too, but this is the right way and I want to do it all the right way?

Powder: loose powder, setting powder, compact powder, they all come after you have made your base with liquid products. Dust your favorite powder on a powder brush and sweep it around your face to mattify your face. If you’re into the dewy look, you can skip the powder step.

Bronzer: Tan your face after working with a compact. Contouring comes first as with blush and a highlighter. This is a good way to first work on how you shape your face, then color and then highlight your face.

Blush: since the blush comes just above the contour you may have done on your cheeks (not adding the nose, chin, forehead, jawline here), it’s time to blush a little (don’t hold any blush, it’s the other blush ), go for it with a blush just above the contour, simulating a wide smile to find the apples of your cheeks.

Highlighter: and above and on top of everything is highlighter, highlight the cheekbone with a highlighter, if you are highlighting with a lighter foundation or concealer I would suggest going before contour or after contouring / before using blush, because it should be extended to the cheeks .

The Right Way To Apply Eye Cream

Setting spray: The last step is to set everything and keep all the makeup you’ve done in place for hours (and hours), simply spray on the makeup setting spray, hold it 2-3 inches from your face and you’re good. To go (provided you do your eyes and lips what you want to do first and last).

Morning skin care routines focus on prevention and protection. Your face will be exposed to the outside environment, so necessary steps include moisturizer and sunscreen.

Focus on repairing damage done during the day with thicker products at night. This is also the time to use anything that makes skin sensitive to the sun, including physical exfoliants and chemical peels.

If your skin is dry, focus your routine on moisturizing and building a healthy skin barrier. Follow the steps above, but replace products that may be too harsh or acidic with products that hydrate your skin and help it retain moisture.

How To Get The Look Of Sun Kissed Skin With Makeup

A basic skin care routine has fewer steps than an extensive routine, but keeps your skin clean and healthy. These steps may depend on your needs and how much time you have. Usually, a basic routine includes removing makeup, cleansing your face, applying a spot treatment for blemishes, using sunscreen during the day, and applying moisturizer.

It’s never too early—or too late—to start a skin care routine. Even kids can practice taking care of their skin by washing their face when they wake up and before bed and applying sunscreen during the day.

But choose specific steps and products in your routine based on your skin concerns and age. Teenagers, for example, may need a product-based routine to help manage blemishes and oily skin. Adults can focus more on products that support their skin as it ages. Build a routine that works for you.

Not everyone likes a 10-step routine, so don’t feel you have to include every step in the lists above.

How To Contour For Your Face Shape

For many people, a good rule of thumb is to apply products from the thinnest to thickest—however many products are possible—as they go through their skin care routine.

The most important thing is to find a skin care routine that works for you and that you stick with. Whether it involves the whole shebang or a simplified ritual, have fun experimenting.
