However, if your BMI is between 18 and 25, you are considered overweight or normal. If your BMI is 25 or more, you are here too, there are different categories, so if your BMI is between 25-30, you are overweight but still in the obese stage. However, if your BMI is greater than 30,

Interestingly, most of us develop adipose or adipose tissue during childhood. And as these networks form, they continue to disturb us intermittently. Don’t we all adore fat kids? But what most of us don’t realize is that we’re hurting them by overeating and making it a long-term strategy. In fact, babies are the consequence in these cases

Although there are many causes of obesity, the most common are poor eating habits, overeating and a sedentary lifestyle, or even a combination of all these factors. Due to the workload, you may not get enough time to exercise, leaving you exhausted at the end of the day. I have also met many people who have a complete lack of motivation to lose weight and do not take fitness seriously. Some of them feel it because they are

When you are overweight, you have the potential to lose weight sooner than when you move into the obese category. In fact, in some cases, you can get right back to your ideal weight by making a few changes to your routine, such as adjusting your diet, doing a 30-minute exercise routine, and getting out of your sedentary position.

However, when you are overweight, it takes significantly more time, effort, dedication and discipline to get back in shape. The medical community uses a tool called the Body Mass Index to classify adults as underweight, overweight, and obese. According to the BMI table, I am morbidly obese. However, when I ask myself, “how do you define plus size?”

One Of The Most Popular Ways Of Telling If You’re A Healthy Weight Is Bogus — Here’s What You Should Do Instead

When I first decided to blog about being an older woman who had a healthy pregnancy and positive birth experience, I had a hard time choosing a name.

There are many different words to describe being big. plus size, fat, overweight, fat, curvy, fluffy, bony, chubby, curvy, curvy, firm, chubby, BBW, heavy, zeftig, etc.

After a few hours of tossing around ideas, I came up with Plus Size Mom Memories (now shortened to Plus Mom).

On the Plus Mommy Facebook page, people sometimes ask how I define plus size and when someone becomes plus size.

I define plus size as a larger clothing size. Most stores start the women’s section at a size 12 or 14, so when I got to that size I started to consider myself plus size.

I asked the Plus Mommy community. “How do you define Plus Size (or when did you start identifying as plus size?”) The thread received over 180 comments and most of the responses were in line with my point about plus size meaning clothing size. Below is a sample to show a few different responses.

People who join my Facebook page and community identify as plus size. I don’t have weight requirements, that’s just silly. l:

We live in a society where anyone over a 10 is shamed for their size. Where a 211 pound person can be told she should have a c-section based on weight alone. We are inundated with messages that our bodies are wrong.

So if anyone wants to be a part of my community, I welcome them. Even if they’re not very big in their Facebook profile picture, because hell, I look about 100 pounds smaller than mine.

While I define plus size as clothing size, I could care less how individuals “define plus size”. I’m much more concerned with providing support resources and welcoming a community where people feel supported.

I call myself flexible. And I never feel bad about it. It’s confidence that comes through in how we plus size ladies showcase our beauty and style.

I call myself fat. It took me a while to figure out that I could use this word and not focus on the negative connotations. In fact, my husband helped a lot. He was calling me fat like it was the sexiest thing ever. When other people have heard me call myself fat, they always want to correct me with “oh no, you’re not fat”. I actually like it because I can talk to them about how fat I am, but it’s not a bad thing. That I’m fine with that (most of the time). My mom had the hardest time adjusting to my use of the word, but I think it was good for her. I personally enjoyed reclaiming the word fat.

Scotty, I also have to remember to think positively of myself when it comes to fat, fat, big or big…or even the more medical term, obesity or morbidly obese (which I am labeled as). I love the fact that I also have the support of an amazing husband who still thinks I’m the sexiest ever, even when I don’t. If I call myself a “whale out of water” or something derogatory, she quickly corrects me and then tells me how beautiful I am… Although I don’t always believe her, it’s beyond me. removes hurtful thoughts. my mind and I are able to keep focusing on the positive in everything. I grew up big and tall and going through high school wasn’t the funnest time…but eventually I was able to look at myself in the mirror; it’s true, at first I see the negative, but then I do everything, smile and remember that my husband still thinks I’m beautiful, sexy, and he always makes it a point to tell me.

So kudos to men who think plus size/plus size women are sexy and beautiful because they ALL are.

I agree with you! It took me a while to see the word fat as a negative thing. I accept it now, but I still prefer to be called plus size. I think it’s so neat how your husband helped you adopt it. Obesity is medically defined as an excess of adipose tissue. You may be wondering what is adipose tissue? Well, adipose tissue is actually a medical term for fat or loose connective tissue. If a person is considered obese, then he has accumulated enough fat to have a negative effect on his health. The negative effects of obesity can be serious
