When it comes to getting married in a chapel, the main problem I see is that there is a large window behind the couple, there are no windows on the sides of the chapel. When it comes to weddings, preparation time is even more important. If you’re having an indoor ceremony, these are the best indoor ceremony sites! When looking for an indoor ceremony site, it’s good to know how many guests you’ll be able to accommodate, the amount of natural light and whether there’s a separate reception area. This last one is less important if you have a team of people dedicated to moving the ceremony site to your reception space, but you need a full hors d’oeuvres or cocktail hour in a completely separate space. Another benefit of having an indoor ceremony space is that you have a plan B in inclement weather!

1. Choose a wedding dress that perfectly reflects your wedding style and personality. Don’t just look at the big picture (the venue or ceremony location), look at every detail! Preparation room, features offered, size of dance floor etc.
2. Prepare questions before going anywhere. Do they have a backup plan for your outdoor ceremony when the weather turns bad?! Do they rent or do you have to bring your own? What services do they have? Need to change the space to fit all your activities? Do they allow a spark?! etc
3. Remember your guests! To estimate the number of guests you want to invite, your venue should have enough capacity and vice versa. If you want a more intimate wedding, don’t want too much space.
