What To Do If I Have No Friends

What To Do If I Have No Friends – Even writing this post, my poor heart is as low as possible as I force myself to remember my previous traumatic high school experience of being insecure and caring too much about what others thought. I really hated every day. This is where my anxiety started and eventually came out strong in my senior year, crippling my late teenage years in my early twenties. It was a place I never really entered. I felt uncomfortable every day, all day, and I would do anything to get through the day as pain free as possible.

When I say I had no friends in high school, I mean I wasn’t the super popular kid, but I didn’t spend my days alone either. I was a versatile and complete pleaser. I was pleasant to everyone, with a constant desire to work in class, finish my schoolwork and return to the comfort of my home. I had a good childhood and unfortunately because of that I had to face the shock of school and the sudden shock of social relations.
