When Is The End Of The World Supposed To Happen

When Is The End Of The World Supposed To Happen – Many “doomsday” predictions have popped up over the years. Here’s a look at four of the most notable.

Okay, it probably isn’t, but David Meade, a Christian author and self-published doomsday survival guide, says it is. in his book

When Is The End Of The World Supposed To Happen

This is the latest in a long line of self-proclaimed prophets who claim to know when, sometimes to the exact hour, the “end times” predicted by the Bible will arrive.

The Super Rich ‘preppers’ Planning To Save Themselves From The Apocalypse

July 29, 2016 – The End Times Prophecies group once announced that the world would end on July 29, 2016 due to something called a “polar spin.” It was predicted that the stars would race across the sky and the atmosphere would be dragged across the ground. It turns out that such a reversal is a common phenomenon that occurs when iron drifts into the Earth’s core. This prediction turned out to be a fiasco, as did the group’s prediction that former President Barack Obama would reveal himself as the Antichrist.

October 7, 2015 – TheeBible Fellowship, a Philadelphia-based Christian website run by Chris McCann, predicted the end of the world in conjunction with the blood moon. (He also claimed the world would end on May 21, 2011.) “From what the Bible presents, it appears that October 7 will be the day God has spoken of: when the world will end,” McCann said.

September 27, 2015 – The blood moon supermoon phenomenon led to several doomsday predictions involving four consecutive full lunar eclipses that occurred at six-month intervals for about two years. Mormon writer Julie Rowe’s apocalyptic musings prompted the Mormon Church to issue a statement to the US TODAY distancing herself from her statements. Stick to your predictions, though: the blood moon supermoon will appear in 2033.

April 15, 2014 -Some people thought it was the end; others just think this is the beginning of the end. The blood moon ushered in a tetrad: four consecutive, full lunar eclipses occurring at six-month intervals, which some consider prophecy. Specifically, Texas televangelist John Hagee (author of

I’m God And I Completely Forgot That I Was Supposed To End The World Today

) says that blood moons signify an “earth-shaking event” that begins to fulfill end-time prophecy, otherwise known as the second coming of Christ.

December 21, 2012 – Do you remember this rumor? Basically, the ancient Maya, who ruled Mexico and Central America until about AD 900. C., used three calendars, one of which ended on December 21, 2012. People celebrated. It was discredited again and again. The celebrities tweeted. The Maya laughed.

Aug/Sep 2011: NASA’s summary of Comet Elenin’s fascination explains it all: “Somehow Elenin quickly became something of a ‘cause cĂ©lebre’ for some internet bloggers, who proclaimed that this little comet could be responsible could be responsible for causing a number of disasters to befall our planet.… NASA’s response to such wild speculation was then in turn speculated as an attempt to hide the truth.”

May 21, 2011: Harold Camping, an 89-year-old televangelist and former president of the Family Radio Network, predicted that the recording world would end with a series of earthquakes around the world at 6 p.m. The people believed him. Some quit their jobs and nervously huddled at home waiting for their moment with God. The day of judgment did not come. So he pushed the date back to October 21. Then he stopped making predictions. Camping lived a long life and died at the age of 92.

Fighting Flat Earth Theory

1 Jan. 2000 – Computers can’t handle an extra digit, they said. So the world braced itself for a computer database crash due to catastrophic preparations. Reverend Jerry Falwell said Y2K would fulfill Christian prophecy. People who had never believed in doomsday scenarios suddenly hoarded canned goods in their basements. With over $100 billion spent on Y2K fixes, Christian numerologist David Meade’s theory that the world will end on September 23 due to what he sees as biblical signs has so far been met with a bored shrug by the world’s citizens.

Well, it’s official: I’m God and I’m a big jerk! I completely forgot that today I would end the world.

Today is September 23, 2017 and that man who said the world would end today was absolutely right. But by God, Louise, I went completely blank.

Here I am with nothing actually happening, it’s the middle of the afternoon and I realize “Oh SHIT, I had to end the WORLD!”

Was Supposed To End The Age Of Skyscrapers. Instead, There Are More Now Than Ever

I seen the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse ride this morning and open the first four of the Seven Seals, and I thought, “What are these fools up to?” I didn’t really like it. How

Bah. I completely forgot. It was supposed to flood the earth with fire, disease and evil the likes of which mankind has never seen and it just went over my head. Gahhh, this is so embarrassing.

I prepared everything! The solar eclipse, the alignment of various planets and constellations, the formation of a secret hidden planet called Nibiru, everything. To be honest, I don’t even remember what I said to those guys, but I just saw on my call that it would be TODAY!

A Space Hotel Could Open As Soon As 2025

My boss gets my ass for this. I should have ended the world so many times and I’m still fucking it up. What’s my excuse this time? Come on, God, get the buddy. Dumb dumb dumb!

I tried to log into my apocalypse machine and oh my god wouldn’t you know? I forgot the password. This is just perfect. I have tried all my passwords and NOTHING. “12345678” “tacos” “tacos1” “Tacos1” “Tacos1!” “goddiscool” everything. What the hell is this? Oh good. Anyway too late, I will have to wait a few more years.

Okay, it will be 2020. Then the world will end. I’d like to make all the volcanoes go off at once or something. I don’t know. I’ll realize something. 2020! I’m setting an alarm now.

From catastrophic climate change to hostile aliens, Hollywood routinely envisions apocalyptic endings to humanity’s sojourn on planet Earth.

For example, in the movie “After Earth,” which hit theaters Friday, a series of earthquakes, floods, tsunamis and other natural disasters make the planet inhospitable to humans, who settle on a new world called Nova Prime.

While the film may be pure fantasy, many scientists are concerned about other dangerous scenarios, some of which are even scarier than anything ever depicted on the big screen.

The mother of all doomsday scenarios, climate change is the greatest threat to the planet, many scientists say. Climate change could make extreme weather events more severe, increase drought in some areas, alter the distribution of animals and diseases around the world, and cause low-lying areas of the planet to be submerged by rising sea levels. The cascade of changes can lead to political instability, severe drought, famine, ecosystem collapse and other changes that make the Earth decidedly inhospitable for life.

It’s the mainstay of disaster movies, but scientists are rightly concerned that a space rock could wipe out Earth. A meteorite impact likely doomed the dinosaurs, and in the Tunguska event, a massive meteorite damaged about 770 square miles (2,000 square kilometers) of Siberian forest in 1908. Perhaps even scarier, astronomers know only a fraction of the space rocks lurking in the solar energy system.

Deadly new pathogens emerge every year: recent pandemics include outbreaks of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), bird flu, and most recently a coronavirus called MERS that originated in Saudi Arabia. And because of our highly interconnected global economy, a deadly disease can spread like wildfire.
